In accordance with the recommendations of the World Health Organization as it pertains to the Covid-19 pandemic, it is with a heavy heart that we make the difficult decision to postpone our upcoming Pancake Breakfast event scheduled for Sunday, April 19th @ the Kenosha Moose lodge. The WHO has recommended that all gatherings of over 50 people be cancelled for the next 8 weeks in the interest of the health and safety of the general public.
As one of our largest (and most greatly attended) fundraisers each and every year, the decision to postpone Pancake Breakfast was not made lightly. Events such as this one are what help us keep the lights on at Safe Harbor Humane Society and we greatly depend on them in order to support our operations. We hope to have a makeup date very soon and will share that with the public once it is secured.
Thank you for your ongoing support of Safe Harbor and our mission. Our work is vital to the animal community in Kenosha County and as committed as ever to seeing it through. For the time being, we are planning to stay open for business as usual, though we anticipate some changes will be implemented in the coming days in accordance with the fluid nature of current events. We will communicate any such adjustments on our Website and Facebook page as they occur.
In the meantime, stay safe and healthy!
